Karen is an internationally recognised Thought Leader for (BCIQ) Business Cultural Intelligence, a qualified tutor in adult education and, also Managing Director Othella® She has spent the past 30 years working across sectors such as Diversity Management, Knowledge and Learning Management, Human Resources and HR Management. Karen empathises that the biggest asset your business has is Human Capital. She merges experiential knowledge and academic processes to develop real impact on your business. Her critical thinking and self-confidence has helped her gain recognition across national and international environments such as being awarded Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 for FSB and invited to be a key note speaker Inaugural International Diversity Conference Isle of Man 2016, sponsored Janssen Lecture 17th Annual National HIV Nurses Association Conference (NHINVA) 2015, “Women Mean Business” at Diversity and Inclusion Conference IFB 2014 Karen experience has led her to feed into cross parliamentary consultation level at the Houses of Parliament she was involved in the Modern Day Slavery Bill prior to is Royal Descent and active and recognized “Think Act Do ” and “Mending The Gap “ Supporter in Gender Equality Recent work has included number of guest lecturers at LMJU Business School and international development of an academic tool that measures Business Cultural Intelligence (BCIQ) She is a valued member of the BAME (Black Asian and Other Ethnic Minority) communities in the U.K., Advisory Member of Liverpool City Council Select Committee Employments & Skills and LMJU World of Work Program. She firmly believes in Return on Investment (ROI).
